SkinPen is not performed on areas of infected skin, active breakouts, or lesions or cold sores. Avoid Sun Exposure for 24 hours prior to treatment. Discontinue to use retinoids for 12 hours prior to treatment.Â
RECOVERY
While healing varies according to the individual and treatment, there may be mild discomfort and Redness for twenty four to seventy two hours. Do not pick any scabbing and keep skin moisturized with the rescue calming ointment and lift HA Serum. Avoid skin irritants and exfoliants for at least two days following treatment. icepacks or gel packs may be applied to areas with mild swelling that may occur for one to three days following Treatment. Avoid sun exposure and exercise with perspiration for three days Following treatment. You may apply mineral based sunscreen and make up on day 2 following treatment.Â
