MALE BREAST

MALE BREAST REDUCTION

Male Breast Reduction, or gynecomastia surgery surgically reduces the breast to flatten and enhance the chest contour. Male breast reduction corrects Gynecomastia, which may be unilateral or bilateral and occur at any age as a result of weight gain, heredity, hormonal changes, or certain medications. Surgically removing excess fat and Glandular tissue of the enlarged Breast creates a firm, masculine look and may boost your confidence.

Gynecomastia Surgery incisions are hidden around the areola, and Additional small incisions Used for Liposuction are placed in the lower crease or within the shape of the chest.

RECOVERY

This procedure is usually an outpatient procedure with general anesthesia. While healing varies according to the individual and extent of the procedure, most find that surgical healing is improved within two weeks of surgery and recover within one to two months. Light Activity is important for two days after surgery and full activity within two to four weeks. Gynecomastia Surgery results may be long term but may be impacted by weight changes or natural aging.
